(Mandan, ND) — The Mandan High School girls’ basketball coach is resigning amid accusations of improper behavior. Shannon Copas submitted his resignation on Wednesday after an incident at Raging Rivers Waterpark on July 19th. Waterpark officials told authorities that Copas and his wife were allegedly seen engaging in improper behavior by multiple witnesses. Mandan Police Captain Pat Haug says there was insufficient evidence to file any criminal charges. Copas has since denied the allegations.
