(New Town, ND) — New Town will be home to a professional basketball team. Beginning in 2026, ‘The Basketball League’ officials say that the Roar will play at Four Bears Casino and Lodge. The league was initially founded in 2017 as North American Premier Basketball and has since expanded to 36 teams. The Roar will join three other new teams next year and be split among the East, Midwest, and West conferences. Officials project ten to 15 home games will be played in New Town in 2026.
