Security Provider Arrested For Second Time, Accused Of Impersonating An Officer

(Rogers, MN) — A St. Cloud man is arrested again in the Twin Cities for impersonating a police officer. Minnesota State Patrol authorities say Trevon Mattson was taken into custody on July 25th in Rogers. The private security provider and ex-cop was eventually released with charges pending. Mattson reportedly was driving aggressively with emergency lights flashing and armed with a gun. The defendant’s arrest comes eleven months after he was accused of mimicking a police officer on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis. Mattson was charged with carrying a gun in public without a state-issued permit and impersonating an officer.
