(Sioux Falls, SD) — The 86th annual Sioux Empire Fair is underway. Fair president and CEO Scott Wick says the carnival is doing very well, as current attendance numbers are up over the same time period as last year. Favorable weather appears to be helping the numbers, with some fairgoers saying it hasn’t been too hot. The festivities run through August 9th.
