(Detroit, MI) — The Minnesota Twins opened up their series against the Detroit Tigers with a 6-3 loss at Comerica Park. Noah Davis was charged with his second loss in relief after allowing a go-ahead home run to Kerry Carpenter in the bottom of the sixth. Ryan Jeffers, Trevor Larnach, and Matt Wallner all went deep in the losing effort. Minnesota is in fourth place in the AL Central at 52-and-60. Zebby Matthews starts for the Twins against the Tigers tonight.
