(Watford City, ND) — First responders who fought last year’s wildfires are being honored. Watford City officials say the Community Strong event will recognize those on the front lines during the wildfires last October. Over 120-thousand acres were burned throughout the western region, including 90-thousand acres lost in the Ray-Tioga-Alamo fire. Community members are invited to help honor first responders on August 14th at the Outlaws Convention Center, starting at 7:30 p.m.
