(Fargo, ND) — Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski could soon be relieved of his duties. Yesterday, Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney said he will decide Zibolski’s future after citing concerns related to a lack of public trust. Chief Zibolski has gained criticism for his verbal responses to a string of deadly shootings this past weekend. City leaders are now calling for his resignation after arguing that his comments were sarcastic and showed a poor tone. Zibolski has since apologized and stated that he doesn’t question his ability to lead the police department.
