(Minot, ND) — Mark Jantzer is projected to be the next mayor of Minot. Yesterday’s unofficial results from the special election indicate that voters chose Jantzer for the position. He has served as acting mayor since April and was first elected to the city council in 2008. City officials say they will have to fill the remainder of Jantzer’s current term as a council member, which runs through next June.
