(Williams County, ND) — Williams County officials are sharing the preliminary budget for 2026. Officials expect a 17-million-dollar increase for next year’s budget, with an anticipated revenue and expense amount of over 149-million-dollars. Nearly 15-million-dollars from property tax levies is also projected to be collected. Officials say more funding will be allocated for community engagement projects and jail improvements. A public hearing for the budget is scheduled for September 16th.
