(Dickinson, ND) — More people are needed to help with paramedic operations in Dickinson. City commissioners approved temporarily contracting two paramedics on Tuesday. Dickinson Fire Chief Jeremy Presnell says the department is understaffed and needs additional help to prevent burnout. The temporary contracts for paramedics will last 90 days. Pay and lodging expenses will be covered through Dickinson’s EMS budget.
