(Bismarck, ND) — The state interim health chief is labeling digital devices as the largest public health threat. Pat Traynor argues that lower attention spans and the need for constant distraction are caused by excessive use of cellphones and similar technology. Traynor also notes that digital device consumption is the most significant challenge facing North Dakotans and U.S. citizens. He now wants to make North Dakota a healthier state by raising awareness for the benefits of minimal cellphone and technology use.
