(Anaconda, MT) — The man accused of killing four people at an Anaconda bar has made his first court appearance. Michael Brown appeared via Zoom from the Butte Detention Center yesterday, two days after he was taken into custody. His bond was set at two million dollars and he was appointed an attorney. Several law enforcement agencies had been searching for Brown for a week after he allegedly gunned down four people at the Owl Bar on August 1st. Attorney general Austin Knudsen noted several departments assisted with the search.
