100 MPH Winds Cause Massive Damage In Stutsman County

(Jamestown, ND) — Stutsman County is recovering from massive damage caused by winds reaching 100 miles per hour. The National Weather Service reports the strongest winds hit Friday between 2:34 and 2:48 a.m. Jamestown suffered heavy damage in a one-square-mile area, with roofs torn off and many trees snapped. Farms north of Courtenay saw barns collapse and grain bins destroyed. Power outages continue as crews clear debris and make repairs.
