(Minot, ND) — Minot State University will receive a five-point-two-million-dollar grant to expand its special education programs. MSU received the funding to boost the recruitment and training of special education teachers at all school levels, with emphasis on rural areas. University officials say the funding also helps establish a pipeline for students with special needs to be guided toward career exploration. The Bush Foundation awarded the five-year grant to MSU through the Project PIPELINE initiative.
