(Bismarck, ND) — A new FDA-approved treatment for tinnitus can now be provided in North Dakota. Alliance Center for Hearing in Bismarck says it’s the first clinic in the state to provide the Lenire Tinnitus treatment device. It involves patients wearing a Bluetooth headset and using a tongue tip device for auditory stimulation. Alliance Center audiologist Amanda Leddige says she expects the new treatment to be offered nationwide in the coming years. The Lenire Tinnitus treatment was approved in 2023, but is not covered by insurance.
