(Bismarck, ND) — Phone-free policies are launching as North Dakota public school students return to class. The state legislature passed a new law earlier this year to require all K-through-12 public schools to adopt phone-free policies. Cellphones must be silenced during all instruction hours. School officials also have the option to create stricter policies that cater to their district. State leaders hope the new law and policies will create stronger learning environments for students and teachers.
