(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins opened up their series against the Athletics with a 6-3 loss at Target Field yesterday. The Twins took an early lead on an RBI double by Matt Wallner, but Joe Ryan gave up two runs in the third and three in the fourth to get charged with his sixth loss. Brooks Lee and Ryan Jeffers both homered in the losing effort. Minnesota is in fourth place in the AL Central at 58-and-67. Bailey Ober starts for the Twins against the A’s tonight.
