(Williamsport, PA) — Sioux Falls’ Little League World Series run comes to a heartbreaking end in extra innings, losing 7-6 to South Carolina last night. South Dakota took a 6-1 lead in extras after a five-run burst, but South Carolina stormed back to walk it off after a dramatic six-run rally in the bottom of the seventh. Connor Felderman had a strong showing on the mound for Sioux Falls, tossing over four scoreless innings with six strikeouts. The team carried a 1-0 lead into the final inning but couldn’t hold on after giving up a walk with the bases loaded and two outs. Despite being eliminated, Sioux Falls finishes as one of the final four teams in the U.S.
