The SmartPan System from Bushel Plus is a magnetic drop-pan that attaches easily to combines, allowing farmers to measure harvest loss in just minutes instead of nearly an hour. Available in sizes ranging from 20″ to 60″, the SmartPan is designed to fit different combine classes and field conditions. Paired with a mobile app and separator tool, samples can be collected and processed quickly, giving producers real-time loss data to guide harvest decisions. Farmers who have adopted the technology report cutting grain loss from as high as 6% down to around 2%, turning that saved loss into added dollars at harvest. Building on this success, Bushel Plus has expanded into the U.S. market, bringing its harvest-saving tools to more producers beyond Canada. Today, their precision grain-loss systems are used in more than 35 countries, underscoring their growing role in the global ag-tech space.
The MAD Concaves
from Bushel Plus replace traditional round-wire concaves with a modular bar-and-grate design engineered for more efficient threshing and separation. This design reduces rotor loss, lowers dockage, and delivers cleaner grain samples. Built with abrasion-resistant AR-200 steel, they’re durable and crop-specific, with interchangeable inserts tailored for conditions ranging from hard-threshing cereals to sensitive crops like soybeans, canola, and alfalfa. A standout—the O-Grate insert—enhances harvest quality for corn, soybeans, and milo. Their modular frame allows combines to retain the base component while swapping in lighter (≈30 lb) inserts in just minutes, simplifying cleanout between crops and maximizing performance.
