(Minot, ND) — Minot Air Force Base is inviting the public to a town hall meeting to learn more about the Sentinel program. The U.S. Air Force says the program was launched for the next generation of intercontinental ballistic missile production and storage. The Sentinel missile system will replace hundreds of Minuteman missiles that have been in service since the 1970s. Silos and launch facilities will also be upgraded in states including North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. The town hall is scheduled for August 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Minot State University’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
