(Grand Forks, ND) — School meal prices are increasing throughout the Grand Forks Public School District. Officials say the 20-cent increase in school meal prices will help the district maintain a fund balance as nutrition costs rise nationwide. The increase is expected to cost each student an additional 17-dollars and 40-cents per school year. Students who are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals will not be affected by the change. This is the first adjustment to school meal prices by GFPSD since the 2017-18 academic year.
