At Mass in Sioux Falls Thursday, Father James Morgan said there’s a cloud of sorrow hanging over his congregation, as many reflect on the two children killed while attending Mass in Minnesota. Bishop Donald DeGrood, who has personal ties to the church, says he’s been praying with families affected and encouraging others to lean on faith and community during this time. Both leaders are asking people to reach out and even write letters of support to the parish to remind them they’re not alone in their grief.
