(Rapid City, SD) — A Pennington County man accused of killing his father continues to cause delays in court. Thirty-year-old Nicholas Selig resisted officers and skipped his first hearing Tuesday, then repeatedly interrupted a judge during Wednesday’s session. Another initial appearance is set for this morning. Nicholas has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his father, Vernon Selig, and could face life in prison or the death penalty.
