news

(Pierre, SD) — A former South Dakota Department of Health employee who forged her own medical marijuana card is being sentenced to probation. Officials say 24-year-old Alexandra Feiner pled guilty to a felony and received a suspended two-year prison term, two years of probation, and a 500-dollar fine. Investigators say she altered and renewed her own card without proper certification. Attorney General Marty Jackley stressed her actions don’t reflect the thousands of state employees who serve the public honestly.
