(Mandan, ND) — Working parents in Mandan can now bring their infant to the office. Earlier this month, the Mandan City Commission approved a new plan to create a family-friendly work environment that improves employee retention and morale. Human Resources Director Amy Berger says parents who want to bond with their newborn during the early months can find it difficult to do so, which is why the city wants to create flexibility. The policy prohibits parents from bringing sick infants to the workplace, and infants must be taken elsewhere if they become fussy or disruptive.
