(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Kelly Armstrong is directing all U.S. and state flags to be lowered to half-staff in the wake of the fatal Charlie Kirk shooting. The Turning Point USA CEO and political activist was shot and killed during a speaking event at a university in Utah yesterday afternoon. Governor Armstrong directed flags to be lowered until sunset on September 14th to recognize the tragedy, in accordance with a nationwide proclamation issued by President Donald Trump yesterday. North Dakotans and statewide businesses are encouraged to join.
