(Bismarck, ND) — State officials are expanding a grant to advance autonomous agriculture. The North Dakota Department of Commerce recently announced an expansion of a seven-and-a-half-million-dollar grant, which will now include land acquisition as an eligible project. The grant already funded the development of autonomous agriculture proving grounds and workforce training programs, among other initiatives. Officials say the addition of land acquisition only includes land acquired by grant recipients after they have been approved for funding. Applications for the autonomous agriculture grant will remain open through October 2nd.
