USDA Announces $1B In Livestock Distance Assistance For ND

(Bismarck, ND) — Over half a dozen North Dakota counties will receive additional disaster relief funding for flooding and wildfire events. The United States Department of Agriculture allocated one-billion-dollars for the severe weather and wildfires that happened in 2023 and 2024. The funds will be available to livestock producers to offset increased feed costs. The producers must be located in a county that had a qualifying disaster and can now apply between today and October 31st. The qualifying counties include Bowman, Williams, McKenzie, and Golden Valley counties.
