Williston City Commission To Hold Special Meeting Regarding Annual Budget

(Williston, ND) — City leaders are holding a special meeting next week to discuss Williston’s annual budget. Officials say that the city’s preliminary budget is projected to have a 16-million-dollar deficit. This comes as Williston faces rising utilities and service costs, the population continues to grow, and a substantial backlog of capital improvement projects. City commissioners are now scheduled to meet on September 23rd to discuss proposed changes to the preliminary budget during a special meeting.
