(Minot, ND) — Minot is one step closer to selecting its next city manager. The city council recently passed a recommendation to interview three top finalists after receiving 53 applications for the position. Tom Joyce, David Kees, and David Lakefield were identified as the individuals who made it to the final round. Joyce has served as acting city manager since Harold Stewart announced his resignation in July to take a new position in Washington State. Stewart will officially step down on Friday, as city council members are expected to host final interviews and a public meet and greet opportunity soon.
