(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo Man will spend over a decade in prison in connection with another man’s fatal overdose earlier this year. Investigators say a 25-year-old man was found dead at a residence in the 39-hundred block of 13th Street Avenue after a lethal fentanyl overdose on May 8th. This led to police arresting Tristin Monsebroten later that day. Monsebroten pleaded guilty to the distribution of fentanyl resulting in a death on Monday. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and must serve two years of supervised probation upon release.
