(Bismarck, ND) — A woman is pleading guilty to her alleged role in a man’s overdose death in Bismarck. Authorities say Kiara Twinn pleaded guilty to a count of delivery of a controlled substance resulting in an overdose death earlier this week. The charges are connected to a 39-year-old man’s fatal overdose at a Bismarck apartment in 2022, where Twinn allegedly supplied the man with drugs mixed with meth and fentanyl. Authorities issued a warrant for Twinn’s arrest in June 2023, but she reportedly didn’t turn herself in until this past March. Twinn now faces up to 20 years in prison while a sentencing date is still pending.
