(Minot, ND) — Minot native Andrea Travnicek has been officially confirmed as the Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the Interior. Yesterday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Travnicek and 47 other nominees to federal positions. The process was fast-tracked for some nominees after Senate Republicans voted to modify chamber rules earlier this month. President Trump nominated Travnicek for her new position in February ahead of her recent confirmation.
