(Watford City, ND) — Managed Canada goose hunting will be held in Watford City to control the regional population. City officials and local authorities will host the managed sessions across five days during the next two weeks. Hunting will start on September 28th and end October 11th, with three hunting dates between those days. Licensed hunters interested in participating must meet at 6:30 a.m. at the Fox Hills Golf Course parking lot for transportation by maintenance staff. Applications and sign-up sheets are available at the Fox Hills clubhouse.
