(Bismarck, ND) — Additional grant funds will help North Dakota schools and organizations grow their art education for students. The North Dakota Council on the Arts recently awarded nearly 60-thousand-dollars to fund different projects across three cities. This includes Elk Ridge Elementary implementing a school-wide arts program in Bismarck, and the James Memorial Preservation Society in Williston getting a boost for visual arts instruction for students lacking access to art classes. The council also allocated funds for Rugby High School to install portable art for classrooms and upgrade its digital design tools.
