Grant County Commissioners Extend Fire Emergency, Burn Restrictions

news

(Grant County, ND) — Fire emergency and burn restrictions will remain in effect for the rest of the year in Grant County. The county’s emergency management team says that due to dry weather, the fire danger rating has remained at extreme levels. This means that it poses a threat to the health, well-being, and safety of the citizens. Campfires or similar controlled burns, fireworks, and charcoal grills or smokers are prohibited for the remainder of the year. Updates and more information regarding the burn restrictions can be found on the Grant County website.
