(Rapid City, SD) — Officials are preparing for the 18th season of Rapid City Rush Hockey through facilities investments. The Monument Ice Arena announced a 900-thousand-dollar investment for new upgrades at the ice arena, which is expected to increase player safety and enhance fan experiences. This includes adding plexiglass around the rink and installing color-changing LED lights. The improvements are expected to be ready for Rapid City’s home opener weekend series against the Wichita Thunder on October 24th and 25th.
