(Grafton, ND) — The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Walsh County authorities are investigating the death of a jail inmate. The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office says a male inmate suffered an apparent medical emergency on Sunday at the Walsh County Jail and ultimately died while receiving life-saving measures. Investigators have not yet released the person’s name or what likely led to the incident. Public Information Officer Christopher Larson says an update is expected no later than Wednesday.
