(Pierre, SD) — A targeted anti-crime initiative in the Sioux Falls metro area is wrapping up its fourth wave. Authorities say that Operation Prairie Thunder recently completed its saturation patrols, with over 240 arrests since August 27th. The operation has focused on tackling drug and gang activity, tracking down parole absconders, and deterring lawlessness overall. The fourth wave specifically involved unsafe activity on roadways, with 53 people arrested between October 1st and the 3rd.
