(Page, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a train crash involving a farming combine near Page. The collision happened around 11 a.m. yesterday. Authorities say the combine was traveling south on a gravel road about five miles northwest of Page when it collided with the front locomotive of a BNSF train heading west. About 20 train cars derailed during the crash, as a 33-year-old Colgate man was identified as the driver of the combine who died on impact. No other injuries were reported, as the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
