(Dallas, TX) — The Minnesota Wild couldn’t complete a three-goal comeback bid during a 5-2 loss to the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center. The Wild trailed 3-0 entering the third period before Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov both scored to bring the team within a goal. However, Dallas scored a pair of empty-netters to put the game away. Minnesota dropped to 2-2-and-0. The Wild visit the Capitals on Friday.
