(Minot, ND) — New details have emerged relating to an accident that left one person dead and another critically injured in Minot. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of 37th Avenue Southwest and 10th Street Southwest. A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when it struck an SUV that was entering the intersection, and the motorcycle driver died at the scene. The 16-year-old girl driving the SUV sustained serious injuries and remains in the hospital.
