(Sioux Falls, SD) — Cattle producers in South Dakota are worried about President Trump’s plan to import Argentinian beef. The South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association said on Facebook that the move would affect local farms, adding that the government should instead reduce excessive tariffs. Trump has said that if not for the tariffs, producers would be in a bad spot. Craig Bieber, Vice President of the Cattlemen’s Association, says the import plan would stall the industry’s recovery.
