(Fargo, ND) — A man is pleading guilty to running a meth ring in Turtle Mountain for over 25 years. Fidel Arenas-Torres pleaded guilty on Friday in a federal drug conspiracy case. In 2023, a man from Belcourt, North Dakota was arrested for possession of meth with intention to sell and was later sentenced to eight years in prison. When he was questioned by authorities the source told investigators that Arenas-Torres suppled him the drugs. Arenas-Torres was previously arrested in 2023 for allegedly entering the country illegally from Mexico and was indicted on the drug charges just one week shy of completing his sentence.
