(Rapid City, SD) — A Nebraska man learned his prison sentence on Monday. In April, Sean Carlos Payne pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor, transporting a minor for criminal sexual activity and failure to register as a sex offender. He admitted to grooming a minor from Meade County, making her believe they were in a consensual sexual relationship. Payne was arrested in Wyoming after the girl was reported missing. A judge sentenced him to 35 years in a South Dakota federal prison along with ten years of supervised release.
