(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Legislative Council is training an AI tool. The tool would be used to draft summaries at the end of session. The council passes roughly 600 bills each session, and the summaries are done manually and are very time consuming. A spokesperson for the council told the Bismarck Tribune that it’ll save them hundreds of hours of work. The council anticipates it will start using the AI tool in 2027.
