(Bismarck, ND) — The Bank of North Dakota is developing a disaster relief program to help agricultural producers in the state. As part of the program, local banks and credit unions across the state will work together to help agriculture producers refinance their debut. Bank of North Dakota CEO Don Morgan said producers are going to be in a tough situation even if federal relief is approved by Congress. It’s not clear if or when Congress will approve relief funding as the federal government shutdown continues.
