(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sixteen counties will be holding sobriety checkpoints next month. The South Dakota Highway Patrol announced on Tuesday that its troopers and local law enforcement will be conducting checks in hopes of encouraging drivers to not drink and drive. Some of the counties involved include Codington, Minnehaha, Yankton and Custer Counties.
