(Minot, ND) — The trial for the man accused of assaulting a woman at a North Dakota State Fair concert is underway. Opening statements were made yesterday in the case against Jaeger Lundeen, with one witness being called to the stand. The assault happened near the Grandstand during the Lil Wayne concert in 2024. According to court documents, witnesses told investigators that the woman was fighting with another woman when Lundeen allegedly stomped on her face, breaking her nose and chipping several teeth. Lundeen is facing one count of aggravated assault. The trial is expected to run through Friday, with prosecutors expected to call on 15 witnesses.
