Report: Twins Hire Shelton As Next Manager

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins have found their new manager. ESPN is reporting that the Twins hired Derek Shelton to be their new skipper. Shelton spent the last six seasons managing the Pittsburgh Pirates before getting fired in May, finishing his tenure with a 306-and-440 managerial record. He was also Minnesota’s bench coach in 2018 and 2019. Shelton will replace Rocco Baldelli, who was fired by the Twins last month.
